Meet Some of the Brothers of Sigma Chi

Pranjal Rastol

Hi, my name is Pranjal and I'm a nanotech student in second year. I joined Sigma Chi to expand my social circle and meet people in different programs/faculties. I can say that joining Sigma Chi was the best decision I made at Waterloo. I was able to meet new people, take on leadership positions, and even grow as a person. My advice, rush Sigma Chi and see what the world offers you.

I joined Sigma Chi because I wanted to enhance my overall university experience, meet new people, and get involved in the Waterloo community. Joining this organization was one of the best decisions I have made in my undergraduate career and although the journey through university can be challenging at times, I found that Sigma Chi provided a helpful balance in my life that could only be developed through the many friendships and memories I've made with the other members.

Hi my name is Dylan Kempel and I rushed Sigma Chi in my 1B term. I found out about Sigma Chi through an old high school friend who was already a member. What captured my attention when hearing about Sigma Chi was their continuous involvement in the community by organizing and partaking in various philanthropy events. Another aspect of Sigma Chi that drew me in was here I found a group of men that shared the same values and virtues as myself, striving to be a high-minded man and gentleman in every sense. Rushing Sigma Chi has to be one of the best decisions I have made in my undergraduate career thus far. Sigma Chi has given me the chance to get to know individuals I never would have likely met and develop relationships that will surpass my undergrad years. Personally, Sigma Chi has opened far more possibilities for me to grow and be the man I strive to be.

"Once you conquer yourself, you can conquer the world"

Hey, I'm Andrew Smith (or just Smithy) and I'm studying Honours Music at UW. Music drives my life. The conversation and chemistry through musical notes are unexplainable between musicians, just like the fraternal bonds of Sigma Chi's around the world. Unparalleled instant understanding and camaraderie is the unique experience of brotherhood. I joined Sigma Chi in Spring 2013, and it's been the best decision I've made in university.
